Best Time to Visit Ladakh Region

With the tireless efforts of the BRO (Border Road Organisation), every year, the snow accumulated on the road is removed by the end of April or 15-20th of May and only then the road from Srinagar to Leh begins for all. Some of the enthusiastic tourists do sightseeing or Chaddar-trek mainly during winter season even in the extreme cold (-5 to -55 degrees Celsius). But for general tourists, the period from June to September is considered best time to visit Leh Ladakh.
